Announcement - Super administrator accounts require 2FA (non-SSO only)

As a part of our ongoing efforts to improve stability and security for our clients, Mindmatrix has enabled a mandatory 2FA requirement for all Super Administrator accounts accessing Mindmatrix software. This change will not impact users who have SSO (Single Sign on) enabled for their accounts.

Why is this change mandatory?

Until now, using 2FA was an optional feature for users to take advantage of in order to further secure their accounts. With an ever-evolving security landscape, this change towards a mandatory requirement will increase the likelihood of secure access to all versions of Mindmatrix software, ensuring that Super Administrators can consistently verify their authorization status before logging in.

Can I opt-out of this change?

In order to protect your account, this change is not optional. Our support team will not be able to help you to disable or avoid this feature for Super Administrators.

What can I expect next?

The good news is, 2FA takes a very short time to set up and will help you to keep your account more secure. Now, the first time you login, you will be prompted to complete steps that will ensure 2FA set up is complete. To read more about how 2FA with Mindmatrix works, click here.
