Source of Truth (SOT) for CRM integrations: SOT is an option which is only available upon first setup of CRM integration. 

Three selection options.

  1. CRM
  2. AMP (Mindmatrix)
  3. Both

 

CRM Option: When Flagging the SOT as CRM, the system will only update values in your CRM fields if they are blank. If the field within the record is not blank then the field in that record will not be updated from AMP, on the next sync interval, the AMP record will be updated with the value in the field from CRM.

Example: 

First Name CRM

First Name AMP

On next sync interval 
both records will match

Steve

In this setup the CRM will always be the source of truth, and will overwrite the data in AMP.


AMP Option: When Flagging the SOT as AMP, the system will only update values in your AMP fields if they are blank. If the field within the record is not blank then the field in that record will not be updated from CRM, on the next sync interval, the CRM record will be updated with the value in the field from AMP.

Example: 

First Name AMP

First Name CRM

On next sync interval 
both records will match

Josh

In this set up AMP will always be the source of truth, and will overwrite the data in CRM. 


Both Option: When Flagging the SOT as both, the system will update the record based on the most recent timestamp.

Example: 

First Name AMP

First Name CRM

On next sync interval 
both records will match

Steve (updated today)

Josh (updated last week)
