Differentiate between Hard bounces, Soft bounces and Unsubscribed

Definitions:
Hard bounces: Email addresses which either do not exist or are invalid. Emails sent to these addresses were not able to be delivered. Examples of these can be incorrectly entered emails (Aelx@domain.com), domains that do not exist (david@peter@symphony.com , Sandra.clare.ITdesk.com), or emails that do not exist because that person is no longer with the compan y.

Soft bounces : Emails in which the address was valid, but, for one of several reasons, was undeliverable. Reasons include a full inbox, an offline email server, and/or the email is too large for the server to handle. The Mindmatrix system will make ten attempts to resend the email to these contacts, and if not successful, that email address will be marked as a hard bounce.

Unsubscribes: These are valid email addresses that received the emails sent, but the contact opted out and no longer wants to receive the emails.

How are they handled in Mindmatrix?
Hard & Soft bounces: As soon as your email is sent, if Mindmatrix receives a bounce back, it is marked with the bounce type on the contact record.

Unsubscribes: There is an unsubscribe link in the footer of every email that is sent, in accordance with spam policies. When a contact clicks to unsubscribe, they are marked in Mindmatrix as unsubscribe. You can view their subscription status in their report.
