How do I create a Popup display of announcements

Introduction:

Popup display announcements offer a dynamic way to communicate important information to users, enhancing user experience and engagement within an organization's platform.

Configuring Permissions:

Users need specific permissions to create, edit, and delete announcements. The permissions required include "NA," "View," and "Delete." Users with "NA" permission won't be able to see announcements unless they have "View" permission. To edit and create announcements, users must have permission to delete them.

Creating Announcements:

Navigate to the announcement page and select the option to create a new announcement. Fill in the required details such as title, language, and validity window. The validity window allows specifying a date range for the announcement to be active. Additionally, check the "popup" feature to display the announcement as a pop-up on the dashboard.

Sharing Announcements:

Announcements can be shared at various levels, including individual users, user groups, and organizations. Super Admins and Site Admins have the additional privilege of sharing announcements at the company level. The sharing page provides options to track shared announcements and manage them accordingly.

Adding Web Banners:
Once you've created modules, they will appear in the respective lists based on their level (company-level or install-level). Be sure to save your configuration to retain your changes.

Displaying Popup Announcements:
Once shared, popup announcements appear on the dashboard in a carousel fashion, allowing users to navigate through multiple announcements. Each popup displays the announcement title and description. Users can mark announcements as read to dismiss them from the dashboard.

Notification Updates:
Notifications for announcements now include options to mark as read, streamlining the user experience. Only the announcement title is displayed in notifications, ensuring concise communication.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, implementing popup display announcements offers an effective way to communicate important information within an organization's platform. By following this guide, you can seamlessly integrate this feature into your system, enhancing user engagement and experience.
