How do I embed an asset into a playbook or journey?

It is possible to to personalize navigation menus within Mindmatrix software. If you are unable to navigate to the correct page, contact your platform administrator.
Embedding assets into playbooks is a great way to make your steps more visually pleasing and more interactive. Follow these steps to add a single asset to a playbook by embedding it.

To start the process, create or edit an existing playbook.

1. You can do this by going to the Setup > Templates > section. Click on Internal Playbooks and click Create.

2. Create a contact-centric playbook if you want users to use the playbook to interact with contacts OR create a non-contact centric playbook if you want users to utilize this playbook to follow a process OR select Linear if you want users to follow a set, published and unchangeable process.
3. Click Add Step.

4. Select Embedded Asset and click Go

5. Name your step and select a particular asset to embed.

6. In this example, we selected a video and inserted it into the step.

7. Once finished embedding your asset, click Save. Add additional steps, or click Continue and Yes.

When building or editing a Playbook, you can now create a new asset directly from within a Playbook step and add it to that step — without leaving the flow.

  • Similarly, for Embedded Asset Action Type, the “Create and Add” button is visible when selecting:

    • Web Assets

    • Web Banners

  1. Navigate to a playbook step or embed asset option.

  2. Select the asset type (e.g., Internal Assets, Web Assets, Web Banners).

  3. Click the “Create and Add” button.

  4. Create the asset within the provided interface.

  5. Once created, the asset is automatically added to the selected step or embedded area without the need for manual selection.
