How do I setup permissions so that users can only view their own deals, opportunities or other data?
You can set role permissions so that users can only see their own deals and opportunities, and not the data of other users within their own organizations.
By default, users will only see their own contacts unless another user shares contacts with them, via a smart list or one-off sharing decision.
Go to Setup > User management > Roles
Click on the Role you would like to adjust.
When editing the role, navigate to "operations".
Slide he permission scaler to "not available" (N/A) for Platform Users, Organization Users and Organization Profile.
Click Save.
