How do I troubleshoot an issue with SSO (Single-Sign-On) and Mindmatrix?

We know that many clients may have custom SSO setups with their Mindmatrix accounts. This article will provide you with a brief guide on how to troubleshoot any issues you see.

  1.  The login page appears to be down for users
  2. Users are logging in but are not being assigned to the appropriate role or group
  3. Users are logging in but not all data appears to be passed to their user profile or organization

Troubleshooting
  1. Verify the agreed upon mapping between your third party application and Mindmatrix. Is this data that was set to be passed between both platforms?
    1. If the data you expect to see was not a part of your agreed upon mapping, it will not be visible within Mindmatrix.
  2. Check with your IT to verify that user group or role data is appropriately set. 
    1. In majority of cases, users are assigned improperly when data passed to Mindmatrix is missing or incorrect. Check with your IT team to verify which data is being passed between the two platforms.
  3. Submit a ticket to support@mindmatrix.net with an example of the data you expect to see as well as the email ID of the user account. Our team will verify whether or not this is a data issue or a problem with your integration.
  4. If the login page appears to be down- check with your IT for any connection issue and submit a ticket to support@mindmatrix.net to verify.
