How do I upload a video to the video gallery?


1. To upload a video into Mindmatrix, click on Assets > Non Personalized Assets > Videos.

Note: On the Bridge platform, clients can personalize menu navigation to better suit the specific needs of their Users. Things may be under a different part of your navigation bar depending on your settings and customization. Contact your platform administrator, Support Team or Consultant for further assistance if you can’t find the selection noted.



2. Then click on the blue "Upload" button.




3. On the Video Gallery page, when creating a new video, you'll be prompted to choose between generating the video using an embed link or uploading an MP4 video. Simply click on the "Create" button on the Video Gallery page, and you'll be presented with the option to select your preferred method for generating the video.



Please note, that the Mp4 video type is not enabled for all portal. So if you need please raise a request to support@mindmatrix.net to enable mp4 video upload option.


Uploading Video from Embed Link option:
4. A window will open where you need to enter the video name and Embed Link of the video and then click "Save".



Optional information fields: 

A. Language: Select the default langauge localization display for this template

B. Description: Add any relevant explanatory notes and comments

C. Valid From, Valid To, and Expiry Reminder: Add a template expiration date

D. Thumbnail: Upload a thumbnail image

E. Filters and Filter Category: add search filter tags



5.  Your video will appear in the Gallery.



Useful: How to obtain the Embed Link from Youtube:


Embed links can be copied from the Youtube, open the video that you want to upload and then click on the “share” option.






A window with Embed option will open, click on that and then copy the src link in the inverted comma.




Use the following embed link formats depending on your video hosting provider:

  1. YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/embed/[insertID]
    1. If you don't want to include related videos, add ?rel=0 to the end of the link such as: https://www.youtube.com/embed/[insertID]?rel=0
  2. Vimeo - https://player.vimeo.com/video/[insertID]
  3. Wistia - https://fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/[insertID]
  4. Vidyard - https://play.vidyard.com/[insertID]


You’ll find the video ID number in the embed or share URL.

Uploading video using Mp4 option:
1. Click on upload and select mp4 option > Go.


2. A upload video window will appear.

3. Click on it or drop a mp4 file on this window to upload the video. Wait till the video is successfully uploaded then click on 'X' button.
