How do I use the MDF Approval Plan creator to setup a fund plan?

Creating a fund plan

Step 1: Click to expand “Marketing”, click to expand “MDF Approval” and then select “ MDF Approval Plans”.

Note: On the Bridge platform, clients can personalize menu navigation to better suit the specific needs of their Users. Things may be under a different part of your navigation bar depending on your settings and customization. Contact your platform administrator, Support Team or Consultant for further assistance if you can’t find the selection noted.

 

Step 2: Click on “Create”.

 




Step 3: Choose a name, currency, and valid date for your fund, and then click “Next”.


 

If necessary, the amount allocated to this fund plan can be hidden from partner view


Step 4: In the “Activities” section, click on “Add”.




Step 5: Fill in the details of the activity. Documents and attachments can also be added. Click “Save”.


















Step 6: All activities and the allocated amounts will appear in the “Activities” tab.  Select an activity and then click “Next” 


Step 7: In the “Organizations” section, use the “Add/Remove” toggle to attach organizations to the fund plan and then click “Finish”.


Previously, these documents were only accessible on the MDF request page. With the new update, these documents will now be visible in all relevant folders within the MDF feature.

Details of the Update:

Informational documents attached to MDF plans will now be displayed in the following folders:

  1. New Requests

  2. Pending Requests

  3. Approved Requests

  4. Reimbursement Requested

  5. Partial Reimbursed

  6. Total Reimbursed

  7. Rejected Requests

This update ensures that all relevant information is readily accessible at various stages of the MDF process, enhancing the user experience and facilitating better management of MDF requests.

Steps to Access Informational Documents:

  1. Log into Your Account: Ensure you are logged into your account with the necessary permissions to view plans.

  2. Navigate to the MDF Feature: Go to the MDF section where you manage your Marketdevelopmentt Funds.

  3. Select the Relevant Folder: Depending on the status of your MDF request, select one of the folders listed above (e.g., New Requests, Approved Requests).

  4. Locate the Informational Document: Open the request or plan, and you will see the attached informational documents now visible within that folder.
