How to add/delete filters from Filter Management and Filter Category?

Accessing Filter Option:
  1. Within the prepared LMS, navigate to the info page.
  2. Observe the filter option and add a filter from the category filters.


Saving and Deleting Filters:
  1. Save the changes and then proceed to delete the added filter.
  2. Note that deleting the filter from the info page does not remove it entirely.



Filter Management Section:
Access the Filter Management in Setup> Asset Management> Filter Management



Unused Filter Deletion:
  1. Identify and delete an unused filter from the filter management section.
  2. Notice that although deleted from filter management, the filter persists in the LMS.





Clear All Option:
  1. Now you can remove all filters associated with an asset at once by clicking the "Clear All" button.

Filter Color Indication:
If the filter is selected through the filter category then the filter will appear in green color. Likely, if you manually add the filter to an asset the filter will be in blue.


Deleting Applied Filters from Filter Category:
  • Navigate to Filter Category in Filter Management.


  • Apply a filter to a course and save the changes.

  • Delete the applied filter from the filter category in the LMS.


Course Verification:

Confirm that the deleted category filter does not remove the applied filter from the course.


Minimum Filter Requirement:
When deleting the Filter from the Filter Category, at least one filter should be present. If you try to delete all filters added to it, it will display the below pop-up message.
