To create a template select the ‘Setup’ tab, then from the ‘Asset Management' section, select ‘Templates’. In the ‘FOLDER’ section, select ‘Internal playbook’ and then click ‘create’.
When you click the Create button, a dropdown menu will appear with three options. From these, select the Journey option.
Contact Centric - Is a sales process playbook for the sales and marketing users, in this playbook the users can add a contact to the playbook and follow the steps designed and completed a particular action. The users can trigger to-dos based at different steps and continue following up on the contacts.
Non-Contact Centric - These playbooks are used as internal process playbook, its designed for users to perform certain actions inside the platform or to follow a certain set of actions on the user side. You cannot add contacts to this playbook.
Non-Contact Centric Linear Playbook – These are training playbook which can be used to perform certain actions by the users, like training inside the platform. The main marketing user can view the stats and completion reports of the playbook. You cannot add contacts to this playbook.
Enter the name, description, and filters in the relevant field for the ‘Info’ section and then click ‘Next’.
In the ‘data’ section, click ‘Upload a Thumbnail’ for the relevant action.
Select the required gallery folder and then double-click the image. If you are not satisfied with the images in the gallery you can upload one.
When You have successfully added a thumbnail image to the template click ‘Finish'.
Type in the template name and description in the relevant fields and then click ‘Add Tab’ to add a new tab.
Enter the tab name in the relevant field and then click the checkmark icon. To create a new step, type in the step’s name and description and then click add.
To add an asset, such as a document, click on the “Add tab” and then select the appropriate link in the “Add Asset” box.
In the “Media” window, use the “Select Asset Type” menu to choose the type of attachment you want to add, and the “Asset State” menu to choose between a customized and a premade asset.
Select the desired attachment, and then click “Done”.
You can have multiple assets in a step, using the “Or” box to use any one asset.
Adding images, documents, and external links.
From the ‘Add Asset’ section, you can add another asset, for example, External Media (which we have used for this tutorial). External media allows you to add an image, video, document or external link.
From this menu, pick the desired media type. For the purposes of this tutorial, we will select the document gallery.
Select the required document folder, for example, Company Documents, then select the document and then click ‘Insert’.
The asset will be added to the set. You can use this process to add as many assets as you like.
To add an external link bring up the external media asset menu again.
Enter the URL and its name in the relevant field, then select sub-type of the URL from the relevant dropdown that will define the file type. When you are finished click save.
You can set the delay duration from the ‘delay’ dropdown, this will specify how long Sales users should wait before they move onto the next step.
You can repeat this process to add as many steps as you desire to a tab.
To delete a step, click the ‘delete’ icon.
When the “Delete Step” menu comes up, click ‘Yes’.
To add multiple tabs, click on the “Add Tab” button.
Click ‘Save’ to save the internal playbook template.
When you are finished editing your template, click “Continue”.
If you wish to save your changes before quitting, remember to click “Yes” on the save menu.
Whether you click “Yes” or “No”, the program will take you back to the template menu where you can copy edit or delete the template you were working on.
To edit the template’s name and description, view performance statistics, or to set permissions, click on the “View” option. Note: when editing permission levels, remember to click the “Save” option.
New updates have been made to the Journey section of the Playbook. Two new folders have been added:
Pending: Contains playbooks that are partially completed.
All Journeys: Displays all playbooks shared with the partner's account.
Sorting Playbooks in the "All Journeys" Section In the All Journeys section, playbooks are sorted by default in descending order. You can also filter playbooks based on:
Creation Date
Last Updated Date
Playbook Name
To filter the playbooks:
Use the filter icon at the top of the screen.
Select the preferred filter from the dropdown list.
Additional Features
You can easily resume or update any journey by selecting the relevant playbook from the folders.
The new folder layout improves accessibility, making it easier to manage and track multiple playbooks at different stages.
Final Notes
Make sure to utilize the filtering option to quickly locate playbooks based on their status or name.

A new Journey Widget has been introduced in the Playbook. This widget can be added to the desired persona and will display a maximum of 3 pending journeys on the dashboard. Each journey displays details of the steps completed for the associated playbook. Clicking on any displayed playbook will show all the steps included in that playbook.
Using the 'Journeys' Widget
Adding the Widget: Navigate to the Playbook settings and select the option to add the Journey Widget to your desired persona's dashboard.
Viewing Pending Journeys:
The widget displays up to 3 pending journeys for easy access.
Each journey provides a summary of the playbook’s progress.
Accessing the Full Journey List:
By clicking on the "View All" text in the widget, you will be redirected to the Journeys page.
On the Journeys page, you can access both-- the Pending and All Journeys folders for further review.
Additional Notes
The Pending Journeys folder includes journeys that are still in progress, while the All Journeys folder contains completed and in-progress journeys.
This widget helps users quickly navigate and continue their work on multiple playbooks from the dashboard.
