Accessing Site Admin and Custom Fields:

To begin moving custom fields:

  1. Log in as Site Admin: Ensure you have access to the Site Admin panel.

  2. Navigate to Custom Fields: In the Site Admin, you can create both Organization Custom Fields and Company Custom Fields. These fields are divided into different tabs based on their purpose.


Using the Switch Functionality to Move Custom Fields:

The switch functionality allows you to move custom fields between tabs without losing any data or settings.

  1. Locate the Custom Field: Select the tab where the custom field is currently placed.

  2. Activate the Switch Functionality: In the custom field, you will find an option to switch the field to another tab.

    • For example, a custom field labeled Text Area 11th October can be switched to another tab.

  3. Choose the Target Tab: A drop-down list will appear displaying the names of other tabs. Select the desired tab from the list.

  4. Move the Field: After selecting the new tab, confirm the action by saving the changes.

Verifying the Switch:

Check if the change is reflected correctly:

  • Go to the Organization section.

  • Select any organization and navigate to the Info section.

  • In the new tab (where the custom field was moved), the field should now be visible.


Moving User Custom Fields:

This feature is not limited to organization and company custom fields. It also applies to User Custom Fields. Follow the same process to move user-specific fields between tabs:

  1. Select the User Custom Field: Just like with organization fields, locate the custom field within its current tab.

  2. Use the Switch Feature: Choose a new tab from the drop-down and move the custom field.

  3. Save and Verify: After saving, the moved field will be reflected on the User Grid Page under the new tab.
