Search criteria in Mindmatrix

Mindmatrix search boxes support the following:
 
Exact phrase

Use quotes to display results with an exact phrase such as:

Search criteria: "John Doe"
  • Displays only items with the exact phrase "John Doe"

And + Or

When space is included, it will default to display items that contain that keyword "or" the other keyword.

You can also include the words "and" or "or" such as the below examples:

Search criteria: John and Doe 
  • Displays items with the keywords "John" and "Doe"
Search criteria: John or Doe 
  • Displays items with the keywords "John" or "Doe"
  • Which is equivalent to John Doe (Since the space defaults to "or")

Parenthesis 

Search criteria: Doe and (John or Jane)
  • Displays items with the keyword "Doe" and "John" or "Jane"

How does the search tool work in the assets library?

Our search will select assets based on keywords in the filter, asset name and description. It's recommended that you use important terms that you think users would type in to find the asset within the title or description.
