
The Asset V5 page now supports the creation of sub-folders within a main folder for better organization and asset management.
Enabling the Feature:
Prerequisites: Contact the Support team to enable the required settings in your company:
Ensure the above settings are enabled by Support
Create a new main folder in the asset configuration (Related Article:How do I set up asset configuration tabs?)
Save the page before adding sub-folders. This step is required
Add sub-folders as needed under the main folder
Save and publish the new subfolder layout.
In the asset library, folders with subfolders added will be displayed.

Asset View Page Display:
Sub-folders are displayed in a different color to distinguish them from main folders
Breadcrumb navigation is provided to easily navigate back to any folder in the hierarchy
Clear visual hierarchy shows the relationship between main folders and sub-folders
Benefits:
Better Organization: Group related assets within logical sub-categories
Improved Navigation: Hierarchical structure makes finding assets easier
Scalable Management: Handle large asset libraries more efficiently
Important Notes:
You must save the main folder first before sub-folders can be added
Sub-folders inherit permissions and settings from their parent main folder
Breadcrumb navigation allows quick movement between folder levels
