How do I create a search filter category?
To create filter categories Go to Setup > Asset Management > Filter Management > Filter Category.
Select between Solutions, Organizations, Products, Assets or LMS and click on the Create Category button.
Enter a Category Name and use the dropdown menu to specify whether it it will be a "Single Select" or "Multiple Select" category. When you have made your selections, click on the arrow icon.

Additional Info: Single Select vs. Multiple Select Categories
Single Select Category: A collection of mutually exclusive search filter tags. A user can only assign one search filter tag to any given asset or template.
Multiple Select Categories: A collection search filter tags. A user can assign one or more search filter tags tags to any given asset or template.

Optional Menu Sections:
- Description: Type in notes or an explanation of your category
- Localization: Specify how the Category label will appear in various languages.
Add the category's component Search Filters.
Method A: Select "Add Filter", enter a filter name, and then click "Save".
Method B: Click on the Add/Remove toggle for individual Search Filters.

Once you have made your selections, click "Finish"

You can now reorder filters within a Filter Category to control how they appear in both your templates and the Asset Library.

Select a Filter Category

Access the Reorder Option

Choose a Sorting Method
Custom: Manually drag and drop to arrange filters.
Name Ascending: Sort filters alphabetically (A-Z).
Name Descending: Sort filters alphabetically (Z-A).

Save Changes
