How It Works:
When different partners register deals using the same company domain, the system automatically detects them as potential duplicates using advanced domain matching algorithms
On the Deal Approval grid, Admins or Channel Managers can click on the Similar Requests option to access comparison tools
The system displays all similar requests submitted by other users for comprehensive review and side-by-side comparison
Domain matching includes variations and subdomains to ensure comprehensive duplicate detection
Benefits:
Conflict Prevention: Proactively identify overlapping deal registrations before approval to prevent partner disputes
Improved Visibility: Gain clear, consolidated view of all requests targeting the same company domain
Better Decision Making: Access detailed comparison data to make informed approval decisions based on complete information
Audit Trail: Maintain complete record of similar requests for compliance and reporting purposes
Use Cases:
Duplicate Prevention: Prevent multiple partners from claiming the same opportunity, protecting partner relationships
Territory Management: Efficiently resolve conflicts when multiple partners target the same company or domain
Approval Efficiency: Streamline the review process for potentially conflicting deals with centralized comparison tools
Strategic Planning: Analyze market overlap and partner targeting patterns for better territory planning
Administrative Features:
Real-Time Detection: Similar requests are identified immediately upon deal submission
Detailed Comparison: View request details, submission dates, and partner information side-by-side
Decision Documentation: Record approval decisions and reasoning for future reference
Conclusion:
The Similar Requests detection feature significantly enhances deal approval processes by providing proactive conflict identification and comprehensive comparison tools. This enhancement helps organizations maintain partner relationships, prevent disputes, and make more informed approval decisions while ensuring fair opportunity distribution across their partner network.

An enhancement has been introduced to improve deal visibility based on user role permissions for Partner Admin and Channel Manager users. This update ensures that users can view deals registered by other users within their assigned scope, providing greater transparency and oversight across deal registration activity.
In addition, a new filter option has been added to the Deals page, allowing users to quickly differentiate between deals they registered and deals registered by other users. Together, these improvements enhance deal tracking, ownership visibility, and cross-team collaboration within the portal.

Role-Based Deal Visibility: Partner Admin and Channel Manager users can now view deals registered by other users within their respective scope, based on configured role permissions.
Partner Admins can see all deals within their Organization.
Channel Managers can see deals from users in their assigned Organization Groups.
Permission-Driven Access: Deal visibility is controlled through two specific role permission settings — Platform Users and Organization Users — both requiring Greater Than or Equal to View access.
Ensures visibility is granted only to authorized users with the correct permission configuration.
New Deal Ownership Filter: A new filter option on the Deals page allows users to easily identify deals registered by themselves versus deals registered by other users.
Enables quick differentiation and improved tracking of deal ownership.
Permission-Based Visibility
For the enhanced deal visibility to function, the following permission conditions must be configured in the user’s role settings:
Platform Users role permission is set to Greater Than or Equal to View
Organization Users permission is set to Greater Than or Equal to View
When both permission conditions are met, the visibility of deals will function as follows:
Partner Admin
Partner Admin users can view all deals registered by other users within the same Organization. This provides full visibility into all deal activity within their organizational scope, enabling better oversight and coordination of deal registration efforts.
Channel Manager
Channel Manager users can view all deals registered by users who belong to the Organization Groups assigned to them. This allows Channel Managers to monitor deal activity across their managed partner groups without requiring full portal-wide access.
New Filter for Deal Ownership
A new filter option has been added on the Deals page to help users easily identify and differentiate between:
Deals registered by you – Shows only deals that the currently logged-in user has personally registered.
Deals registered by other users – Shows deals registered by other users within the viewer’s organizational scope.
This filter allows for quick differentiation and better tracking of deal ownership, making it easier for users to focus on relevant deals and manage their pipeline effectively.

Improved Transparency: Partner Admins and Channel Managers gain visibility into deal activity across their organizational scope, enabling better oversight and collaboration.
Permission-Controlled Access: Deal visibility is governed by role permission settings, ensuring that access is granted only to authorized users.
Quick Deal Differentiation: The new ownership filter on the Deals page makes it easy to distinguish between self-registered deals and those registered by other users.
Enhanced Pipeline Management: Users can focus on relevant deals more efficiently, improving deal tracking and pipeline management across the organization.

The enhanced deal visibility feature provides Partner Admin and Channel Manager users with greater transparency into deal registration activity across their organizational scope. By leveraging role-based permission settings, the system ensures that deal visibility is controlled, authorized, and aligned with each user’s management responsibilities.
Combined with the new Deal Ownership filter, this enhancement empowers users to quickly identify, track, and manage deals more effectively — improving overall coordination and pipeline visibility within the portal.
