How do I add custom localization translations for custom Contact data entry fields?

Feature:

This feature can be used by all the super admin users or who have access to the Custom Fields option under the setup tab. It provides the ability to update the custom field according to the default language selected by the user under the User Profile.

Navigating to the custom fields editor: 

  • To create the Contact Custom Field and localize the same, go to Setup > Custom Fields > Contact Custom Fields
Note: On the Bridge platform, clients can personalize menu navigation to better suit the specific needs of their Users. Things may be under a different part of your navigation bar depending on your settings and customization. Contact your platform administrator, Support Team or Consultant for further assistance if you can’t find the selection noted.



Setting localization for organizational information tabs: 

Select a custom tab and click on the "edit" option:


Enter your custom translation text for any relevant languages and then click "Save".


Setting localization for data entry fields


For given data entry field, click on the "edit" icon.


Go to the “Localization” tab, update the respective fields as per the language, and click on Save.




Once done, please be sure to click on Save on the main window.




Where to check the changes

The changes will reflect under Contacts.
