Process:
Stage 1
Login to your Autotask account:
Hover over Admin> select Resources(Users)
Click on +New to create a new user
Select the “Security” drop down menu and then select security level as "API User". On the bottom, you have the option to select API tracking.
And then copy the tracking identifier.
Stage 2
Click on “Configure CRM”
Click on “Configure CRM”. While integrating AMP with your Autotask account,
Enter API username and password,
select the checkbox “Is API User”.
You will get the Field named “Choose Tracking Identifier”.You will get two options here, one is MM Identifier and Partner Identifier. MM Identifier is selected by default.
Identifier - If a user wants to use their own identifier they can select this option and fill the respective field with their integration code.
