Unique features of a 'Step-Layout' format:

A 'Step-Layout' format differs from a 'Standard Layout' format in two areas:
1. the 'Info' section and...
2. ...the "Assign Database Records' section.

The following article will provide an overview of each.

Part 1 - The 'Info' Section:

Opportunity 'Info' Headings:
A. Opportunity Details Header (Admin Users can edit certain record properties directly from this header)
B. Tab Navigation (Related Assets, Additional Info, and Interactions)

'Related Assets' Sections:
A. Opportunity Details: (Non-Admin Users can edit mandatory record information from this section)
B. Related Asset display gallery: The platform will display assets that might be useful for a given opportunity.  (Admins can find the controls that determine how the platform filters and suggests assets under “Setup > Asset Configuration – Opportunity tab)”.

Info tab - 'Additional Info' :

Here a user can view and update Opportunity record data. This is often were admins will place additional/optional data entry fields when creating a custom Opportunity record format.

Info - tab - 'Interactions' :

'Interactions' Sections:
A. Add/remove Contacts
B. Associated Contacts: View Contacts contacts associated with this Opportunity
C. Tab Navigation: List View/Map View/Activities View

List View

Lists all contacts currently associated with the Opportunity Record.

Map View

When a User clicks on “Map View” it will display the contacts in tree structure based on their account (contact company) providing the email and title of each contact as shown below.

Activities View

This tab displays graphs of the frequency of contact activities for each contact.

Part Two- The 'Assign Database Records' Section:

In this action, Admins can associate Product Database Records with a given Opportunity by clicking on the 'Add/Remove' toggle.
