How to Import Contacts into the Sales Playbook
A new feature now allows users to import contacts directly into the Sales Playbook, making it easier to assign large groups of contacts to specific steps in a sales process. This enhancement mirrors the contact import functionality found on the main Contacts page, but is now available inside the playbook interface itself.
Dashboard View
Process View Tab
Open the Sales Playbook
Navigate to your desired Sales Playbook via the dashboard or the Process View tab.
Click “Add/Remove Contacts”
A modal window will appear.
Select Playbook Steps
Choose which step(s) in the playbook the contacts should be assigned to.
Click “Import Contacts”
Within the same modal, click the “Import Contacts” button.
Upload and Confirm
Follow the steps to upload your contact file or input contact details.
Once uploaded, the system will auto-assign contacts to the selected steps.
Review Assignment
Immediately after import, contacts will be visible in the designated steps of the playbook.
Streamlined Assignment: Upload multiple contacts in one go—no manual entry needed.
Consistency Across Modules: Import behavior is identical to the Contacts page, ensuring familiarity for users.
Faster Playbook Execution: Assign leads to playbook stages faster, boosting team productivity.
With this new import functionality, managing contacts within Sales Playbooks is faster and more scalable. Whether onboarding new leads or aligning contact lists with campaign stages, this update ensures smoother execution for your sales workflows.
